What is the definition of a river warning stage?

(1)Class I warning stage:
  1. Warning time: Time recommended to the flood control unit to advise or instruct evacuation and proper placement in accordance with Article 24 of Disaster Prevention and Protection Act. In principle, the warning time is about two hours for the flood to rise to the planned flood level.
  2. Adopted measures: The water level recommended for the disaster relief unit to respond in accordance with 'Article 24 of Disaster Prevention and Protection Act'.
(2)Class II warning stage:
  1. Warning time: The time recommended to the flood control unit and disaster relief agencies for preparation (personnel, equipment and materials). In principle, the warning time is about five hours for the flood to rise to the planned flood level.
  2. Adopted measures: The water level recommended for the preparation of disaster relief related supplies (personnel, equipment and materials).
(3)Class III warning stage:
  1. Warning time: The time recommended to the people, vehicles, equipment, and properties to leave the river areas and close the river areas.
  2. Adopted measures: The water level recommended for the preparation of disaster relief related supplies (personnel, equipment and materials).
