The opening ceremony of Tainan Anping Reclaimed Water Plant was held yesterday (20), with the attendance of Wu Tang-an, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of the Interior; Wu Hsin-hsou, Director- General, Construction and Planning Agency, Ministry of the Interior; Huang Wei-che, Mayor of Tainan; Han Rong-hwa, the Director-general of Water Resources Bureau; Chen Ting-fei, a member of the Legislative Yuan; as well as various city council members. The attendees jointly witnessed a new era of sustainable development of water resources, which is expected to alleviate the water shortage crisis in southern and stabilizing water use for the high-tech industry. At the same time, the “Integrity Platform of Tainan City Anping Reclaimed Water Plant New Construction Turnkey Project” has also empowered the competent authorities to successfully complete the phased objectives. The Water Resources Bureau (WRB) will continue to internalize and promote the experience of transparent and clean governance to integrate and improve various major infrastructure projects, to safeguard civil service integrity, and ensure a quality, clean and happy Greater Tainan.
