On February 20, 2023 (Monday), the Water Resources Bureau (WRB) held the 1st Integrity Platform Education Training Workshop in 2023, and invited Cheng Hsui-jung, Deputy Director-General of the Southern Taiwan Science Park Bureau, NSTC, to deliver a lecture on “Water Risk Management: The Importance of Water Use in High-Tech Industries and Meeting the Need for Sustainable Water Resources”, chaired by Mr. Han Rong-hwa, Director-General of the WRB. To engage in face-to-face discussions, staff from the relevant units of the WRB were invited to attend the event, along with representatives from the contractor, HDEC Corporation, and supervisory firms Stantec Taiwan and AECOM Taiwan. The participants jointly explored the importance of water use in high-tech industries and to meet the sustainable development of water resources. It is also hoped that through public-private collaboration, the WRB can integrate the suggestions provided by administrative agencies, experts and scholars across different disciplines to assist the Bureau in promoting major projects smoothly.
Today, through the Integrity Platform Meeting, the industry, government, and academia were effectively brought together to exchange issues encountered in practice, with a view to creating a better and quality public works environment, and working together to build a transparent, quality and happy Greater Tainan.
