In order to carry out the city government's goal of clean and transparent government, for the major project "Tainan City Rende Reclaimed Water Plant New Construction Turnkey Project" undertaken by the Water Resource Bureau ("WRB" or "the Bureau"), which has been allocated with total budget of approximately NT$1.9 billion and is expected to provide 8,000 tons of recycled water supply per day starting in 2024, the WRB has set up an Integrity Platform during the investment stage to integrate the recommendations of inspection, ethics, investigation, experts and scholars, as well as external supervision. Through the public-private cooperation of various agencies and contractors, it is hoped to leverage the power of risk prevention measures and public oversight to improve the quality of public works projects.
