Each construction range of the flood control project is based on the comprehensive flood control and management plan, and each project was well studied and discussed by experts and scholars before the most cost-effective flood control program was created. After the completion, the flood control project can effectively reduce the risk of flooding. Comprehensive flood control and management projects include increased drainage channels, flood detention ponds, pumping stations and elevation of polder dyke and roads. Therefore, a large scale expropriation of privately owned land is involved. We hope the landowners of the private land can support our land expropriation for the flood control and management projects and provide land use consents so that the community can stop suffering from flooding as soon as possible.
