On May 15, 2024, the Water Resources Bureau (WRB) of the Tainan City Government hosted a Corporate Services Integrity Platform Forum at the Dongzhe Hall of Yonghua Civic Center. The event, centered on the theme of public-private partnership for integrity and sustainability, invited experts from various sectors to share insights, including a prosecutor from the Tainan District Prosecutors Office, who discussed the importance of corporate integrity and legal compliance in government procurement. Additionally, an associate director from KPMG Sustainability Consulting shared insights on corporate sustainability trends and net-zero emissions, while a section chief from the Occupational Safety Section of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, National Science and Technology Council spoke about corporate sustainability in labor safety. Through the Integrity Platform’s communication and liaison mechanism, experts from both the public and private sectors, along with representatives and business leaders from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), were invited to participate. This platform facilitated interactive learning and idea exchange, reinforcing a shared commitment to corporate sustainability. By fostering integrity and transparency within the private sector, the initiative aims to build a collaborative and transparent governance model, strengthen cross-sector cooperation networks, and create an ethical and corruption-free investment environment. Ultimately, this effort supports a win-win scenario for both national and industrial sustainable development.
