The Water Resources Bureau (WRB) of the Tainan City Government today (Oct 29) held a Government Procurement Integrity Platform liaison meeting on the Hutou River Drainage Waste Removal and Disposal Project at the Anping Reclaimed Water Plant Environmental Education Center (3rd Floor). The meeting was chaired by the Director-General of the WRB and attended by over 20 representatives, including prosecutors from the Tainan District Prosecutors Office, the Director of the Civil Service Ethics Office, investigators from the Tainan City Field Division of the Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau, industry representatives, and officials from various government departments. The meeting focused on discussing the current project progress, potential challenges, and strategic solutions to ensure the effective operation of the Government Procurement Integrity Platform. By jointly reviewing construction progress, project execution, and strengthening corruption prevention mechanisms, the Tainan City Government reaffirms its commitment to transparency and integrity. The ultimate goal is to ensure the project’s completion on schedule and with high quality, aligning with Mayor Huang Wei-che’s vision of “Doing Better to Ensure a Better Life for the People.”
